In his ceramic practice, he explores the aesthetic and spatial qualities of clay through geometric study, iteration, speculation, and representation. He is drawn to the tension and ambiguity that emerges between the digital and the tactile, the functional and the fictional. This opens onto a broader question about the different modes of existence of objects — that is, how they come into being, how they relate to us, how they shape the spaces we inhabit, and how they invite us to imagine new ones.
Ultimately, he hopes to create objects, buildings, and fictions all at once — asking what happens when a mere form becomes part of a larger scheme of things.
